first and foremost, fiction absolutely affects reality. full stop, and if you disagree, don't interact with me. i believe that artists of all mediums are allowed to explore dark themes, and they do not have to explicitly explain in their work that the dark themes they portray are absolutely immoral. not only this, i believe that they are not required to divulge personal information that "justifies" their right to create this kind of art. this being said, i curate the media i interact with, as i believe everyone should. there are types of fiction that i find inexcusable and i do not engage with it.
